Dan is a garden designer based in Snowdonia. He feels that landscapes have only opportunities, not limitations. Established in 2008, as Propagating Dan, his practice draws on bold and playful – yet strongly contextual – landscape themes, with a plantsman’s eye for rarities that suit specific locations, all bound together with a long-term focused approach.

Working in public realm commissions as well as private gardens, Dan has designed landscapes throughout the UK and internationally. His quest to learn of new plants and experience them in their natural habitats has seen him journey on numerous plant-hunting trips worldwide.
