Meet the designers of the Garden of the Future in the Show Garden category at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025
Matthew Butler & Josh Parker
Matthew Butler and Josh Parker became friends at university and soon realised they had a shared love for gardening and the natural world. They started working together as garden designers and horticulturalists in 2019 and founded the design studio four years later.

Matthew and Josh’s approach to garden design is to create beautiful, creative and emotive spaces that are research-driven, with a focus on planting environments and a caring approach at every stage. Key to their work is treating the garden as an ecosystem.

and pursue the most sustainable routes wherever possible. We enjoy adding naturalistic-inspired planting with year-round interest and we seek
to reflect the latest research and development within the horticultural world.
